- As you know, dry land started this week and
from what I can tell, the kids are getting a very good workout! I have
heard some complaints of sore muscles from a number of kids:) This is a
really important activity for all skiers to participate in as much as possible.
The team building is important as well as getting them into condition to
help prevent possible injury on the mountain. Practice is held Monday thru Friday right after school until 4:30pm.
- Thank you all for your patience in filling out
and sometimes, refilling out all of the paperwork. I understand some of
the information was repeated, but the forms went to different organizations so
everyone needed to have it for their records.
- Only a couple of days left to sell (quietly)
those poinsettia's. Kids need to turn them in to Larry White on Thursday,
November 19th in the student center. Please remember to bring all of your
forms and money. If you have any questions, Larry's number is on the
paperwork.
- SCRIP - thanks Bob for taking care of our first
order. Just a reminder to all - this is a time sensitive fundraiser.
Bob has to have your order form and money by Monday, so he can place the order first
thing Tuesday morning.
- Although there is snow on the mountain, no
December ski dates have been set. The coaches are looking at their
schedules to see what might work, but it might be a little too early to
plan. Keep in mind the Mt. Hood Ski Camps too.
- If you already know of dates that your child
will miss either Wed. night training or a Sat. race, please be sure and let Norma
know ASAP. Also, if you could let me know about the overnight trip in
January and how many from your family will be coming so Norma can plan with the
motel accordingly.
